About Us

Forty-three years ago Bruni and Bill Obriecht opened their doors to a shop with the idea of presenting American crafts to people who would appreciate and support such an endeavor. After all these years of finding and presenting such items, we can say, that the idea was successful. Over time we have added crafts from other countries.

We travel to numerous craftshows in the U.S. and Europe to gather the many varied items you will find in our store. As one customer put it: "Candy for the eye!".

We enjoy meeting the people who are so talented and produce beauty to enhance our lives. Today, 43 years later we have a marvelous collection, some from craftspeople we have known so many years and others we just added when we visited the Buyers market of American Crafts and the American Craft Council shows.
